Chipton-Ross is seeking a Production/Inventory Coordinator B for a contract opportunity in North Charleston, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools – excel (basic skills)
- Must be comfortable with the weekend rotation shift
- Microsoft Suite Experience required
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions. Monitors work in process. Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability. Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Self-starter, the ability to speak up when direction is needed, punctuality, ability to work well alone and with a team. Works under general supervision.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to physically lift up to 35 lbs
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK HOURS:
FULL TIME/SECOND SHIFT; 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Must be willing to be a part of a weekend rotation. Must be willing to work 1 out of every 3 weekends (Saturday and Sunday shift – these days will be OT).
